Hey guys! I just wanted to pop over here for a quick minute to talk about what has been going on lately over on my end. 🙂 So I kind of fell off the bandwagon a bit this past week. I had way too much ice cream and frozen yogurt for life. Literally I felt like bum. It’s crazy how much certain foods and affect you. It really made me realize how much going paleo is so worth it to me in the long run. I just felt so much better. So I started the Whole30 again and am finishing up day 2 as we speak. I figured I would tell you what my plans were for meals this week!
But first, CrossFit. This mornings WOD was intense. It was AMRAP for 15 minutes (Partner) Deadlifts and 250m run. That means that while one partner is out running the other partner is deadlifting. You tally up your total score by how many deadlifts you and your partner got in 15 minutes. With a 95 lb barbell we got in 221. I consider that mild beast mode for 5 am. Haha, it killed. My back is so sore. I am definitely continuing some foam rolling love later. I need to find myself a lacrosse ball so I have one for when I am at home and dying.
Here are some eats from this past week.
Chicken Salad seasoned with paprika, sea salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Tossed with avocado and grapes. It was super delicious, but I think I needed some more vegetables since I was hungry not too long after.
Sausage, peppers, onion, and olive meatza with roasted garlic marinara. Super yum! It was an insane combination. But then again get me anywhere that much meat and I am a happy camper. Chicken sausage and almond butter will forever be my two loves. Yes, please think of all the jokes you can make from that statement. Sausage and nuts… No wonder I am single haha.
Last but certainly not least, turkey taco salad. I threw some garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt, black pepper, slap yo mama cajun seasoning, chili powder, and paprika into the ground turkey and cooked until done. Put that on top of a big bed of spinach, avocado, cherry tomatoes, and salsa. It was delicious. I’m about to go have the leftovers for dinner once I leave my creepy corner at work.
Wednesday: Cilantro chicken nuggets with hot sauce and a side of mashed garlic cauliflower.
Thursday: Chicken with butternut squash.
Friday: Sweet lemon pepper chicken with crispy brussel sprouts.
Sunday: Grilled pineapple sirloin burgers with spicy avocado cream and sweet potato fries.
Monday: Chicken and broccoli with tahini sauce
Tuesday: Taco Salads
Wednesday: Chicken Fajitas
I will try to remember to take pictures of all of these so I can show you guys some delicious foods next week! I have Wednesday off at night so hopefully you will see a lovely little recap and new menu!
Until then I am going to go hobble home with bruised shins, ripped hands, and a sore back. I love my life haha. 😉
